More Easter fun

We couldn’t help ourselves. We made more easter cupcakes and had just as much fun doing it. We used the same lemon cake recipe and simple vanilla frosting recipe and did some pretty cool decorating if I do say so.

The Easter Bunny would be jealous

If he hopped in and saw these lurking around. These are lemon cupcakes with vanilla frosting topped with Peeps, all sorts of sprinkles and last but not least shaved dark and white chocolate. We made these last night and frosted them today for a function we had tonight. We used oversized cupcake tins and they are BIG, moist, lemony and oh so good.

Two recipes we have been working on:

Are chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting and Oreo cupcakes with a few twists

We have made these chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting twice and they are on the top of our list. Moist and gooey and the peanut butter frosting is to die for. There is lots and lots of peanut butter in the frosting….yummmy..

Our other favorite is Oreo cupcakes. Again chocolate cupcakes but with oreo stuffing frosting dusted with crushed Oreos or with a chunk of an Oreo cookie. Just like eating an Oreo but moister. You still may want a glass of milk to wash it all down. What could be better?
